The Challenge

Honoring Legacy While Elevating the Future

After seven successful years, the College Park Ward 4 Citywide Festival had become a staple in South Fulton’s Airport District. While deeply rooted in community tradition, the festival had outgrown its existing identity.

The City of College Park and Councilman Roderick Gay sought a refreshed brand that could honor the festival’s legacy while amplifying its reach, relevance, and impact for a new generation of residents, visitors, vendors, and sponsors.

Dante Davis Design was commissioned to reimagine the entire visual and digital ecosystem—creating a cohesive identity that captured the energy, culture, and pride of Ward 4 while introducing modern marketing technology to scale engagement.

THE SOLUTION

A Multi‑Sensory Brand Experience

Our creative direction centered on vibrancy, inclusivity, and innovation. By bridging tradition with technology, we transformed the festival into a multi‑channel brand experience that unified print, digital, and live‑event touchpoints under one cohesive identity.

Design & Brand Identity

  • Introduced a colorful, 3D‑inspired logo system integrating the “Ward 4” emblem with dynamic illustration‑based visuals

  • Created a signature visual style blending realism and fantasy—featuring hosts Councilman Roderick Gay and Pamela Gay, the fire department mascot Fire Dog, and the crowd‑favorite Mirror Man stilt performer

  • Extended the brand across 40‑foot stage banners, event signage, vendor displays, and digital assets to ensure instant recognition citywide

Every touchpoint was designed to feel intentional, unified, and scalable — allowing the brand to show up consistently across digital, physical, and live environments.

Digital Integration & Mobile Engagement

  • Implemented mobile‑first technology using QR codes, MiFlyer interactive landing pages, and the SMS campaign “Text WARD4 to 54244”
