Meet the Executor.
Jocelyn Simmons-Davis | Co-Owner & Director of Client Relations + Digital Strategy
Jocelyn Simmons-Davis is the Co-Owner and Director of Client Relations & Digital Strategy at Dante Davis Design, where she leads client experience, strategic development, and brand execution. Known to her team and clients as "The Executor," Jocelyn is the steady force who turns complex creative visions into streamlined, high-functioning realities.

The Hustle: A Foundation of Academic & Professional Excellence
Jocelyn’s professional journey is defined by an extraordinary ability to manage high-level responsibilities across diverse fields. While earning her B.S. in Marketing and Management at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU), she was a vital asset to the university’s infrastructure. She served in the Retention Strategies Office, the Biology and Chemistry departments, and the African American History and Philosophy department, where she worked directly with Professor Felton Best as an editor for his published books and transformed the university bookstore’s digital presence by photographing merchandise and designing new retail offerings.

Her sharpest skills were forged on the sidelines. As a basketball and football manager at CCSU, she worked alongside elite coaches like Chad Wilt, David Arnold Sr., and Robert Likens, as well as WNBA legends Stacy Thomas and Dena Head. This sports-management grit led to her "big league" moment at the American Marketing Association National Convention. After declaring she would walk away with a job, she hand-delivered her resume to the General Manager of the Atlanta Hawks and secured a position in their marketing promotions department.

Precision & Advocacy: 15 Years of Excellence
Beyond marketing, Jocelyn brings a level of administrative precision that few in the creative industry possess. She spent nearly 15 years in the Medical Records Department for CTVNA (later Masonicare Partners Home Health & Hospice). Managing sensitive data for over a decade sharpened the "expert eye" she now uses to oversee full-scale website builds and digital strategies.

Her devotion to people is equally deep-rooted. She spent six summers as an Arts and Crafts Counselor at Camp Courant, serving inner-city youth. Later, she chose to leave her role with the Atlanta Hawks to return home as the primary caregiver for her grandmother—the woman who raised her. This experience made her a lifelong advocate for the older generation, valuing the wisdom and legacy of our "seasoned" elders above all else.

The "Research Queen" & The Future of Branding
In 2016, Jocelyn met her husband and business partner, Dante Davis, at the Strategies Conference hosted by Apostle I.V. Hilliard in Houston, TX. While Dante had built a successful creative business over 25 years, Jocelyn’s arrival sparked a new era of growth. She introduced the operational structures, client processes, and strategic systems that allowed the company to evolve into the integrated brand ecosystem it is today.

Jocelyn is a recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) in consumer behavior. Her insights are backed by:

Whether she’s competing in The Greatest Baker, cheering for Duke Basketball (her lifelong team, even during her early days at UCONN), or navigating a complex website build, Jocelyn brings unmatched empathy, energy, and an expert eye to everything she touches.

"I love giving the reviews that help a business improve. I bring that same critical eye to your brand. I see the things you might miss, and I fix them before your customer ever sees them." — Jocelyn Simmons-Davis

-
K-Drama Enthusiast: Jocelyn is a dedicated fan of K-Dramas, using them as both a way to relax and a tool to immerse herself in Korean culture and storytelling.
