The Challenge: Honoring Legacy While Elevating the Future
After seven successful years, the College Park Ward 4 Citywide Festival had become a staple in the heart of South Fulton’s Airport District—but it was time for a transformation. The City of College Park and Councilman Roderick Gay sought a refreshed identity that could both honor the festival’s roots and amplify its impact for a new generation of residents, visitors, and sponsors.
Dante Davis Design was commissioned to reimagine the entire visual and digital experience—building a cohesive brand identity that captured the energy, culture, and community pride of Ward 4 while bringing modern marketing technology into play.
Digital Integration
-
Implemented mobile-first technology via QR codes, MiFlyer interactive landing pages, and the “Text WARD4 to 54244” SMS campaign—allowing instant access to event details, schedules, and vendor registration.
-
Produced high-energy video trailers and animated social content optimized for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
-
Developed custom landing pages for real-time engagement and attendee tracking.
Marketing & Media Reach
-
Crafted a vibrant storytelling strategy around “Community, Culture, and Celebration,” which resonated across social media and press outlets.
-
Partnered with local influencers and press teams to expand visibility from Atlanta neighborhoods to national platforms.
The Solution: A Multi-sensory Brand Experience!
Our creative direction centered on vibrancy, inclusivity, and innovation. To evolve the brand, we bridged tradition with technology—creating a multi-channel marketing ecosystem that united print, digital, and live-event touchpoints under one cohesive identity.
Design & Branding
-
Introduced a colorful, 3D-inspired logo system integrating the “Ward 4” emblem with dynamic illustration-based visuals.
-
Created a signature visual style blending realism and fantasy—featuring hosts Councilman Roderick Gay and Pamela Gay, the fire department mascot “Fire Dog,” and the community favorite “Mirror Man” stilt performer.
-
Extended the brand across 40-foot stage banners, event signage, vendor displays, and digital media, ensuring seamless recognition citywide.
