The Challenge: Reinventing Solar’s Reputation

The solar industry in Florida was facing burnout. After years of door-to-door canvassing and repetitive “same-old” sales pitches, local homeowners had become skeptical of anything involving solar panels.

The founders of Empower Sustainables wanted to break that mold — to create a solar and sustainability brand that didn’t feel corporate, cold, or cliché.

They envisioned something different:
A movement that reflected their diverse, youthful, customer-focused culture — one that would make sustainability cool, approachable, and profitable again.

Goal: Build a solar brand that excites customers and inspires employees — turning renewable energy into a lifestyle they’re proud to represent.

Working side-by-side with founders Anthony Persaud (Engineer & Marketer) and Dr. Kosha Jayswal (MD, Actress, and Former Miss Dallas), Dante Davis Design crafted an identity that fused intellect, innovation, and entertainment.

1. Brand Strategy & Culture Design

We reimagined Empower not just as a solar provider, but as a lifestyle experience — part science, part showmanship.


We built a cultural blueprint described as:

“Wolf of Wall Street meets Best Buy Geek Squad with a Chick-fil-A heart.”

This philosophy emphasized competition, care, and community — balancing sales drive with genuine human connection.

 

2. Visual Identity System

  • Designed a colorful yet minimalist logo symbolizing light, motion, and growth.

  • Developed a color-coded identity system that unified the team while creating internal “houses,” each represented by unique shades and mottos — reminiscent of Hogwarts-style team pride.

  • Produced fashion-forward business cards, branded sports jerseys, and water bottles, aligning sustainability with modern streetwear appeal.

 

3. The Mobile Showroom Experience

To disrupt traditional door-knocking fatigue, we introduced an Empower Branded Trailer — a rolling sustainable nightclub and showroom.

This traveling exhibit featured:

  • Hydroponic gardens and home-grown supplements showcasing sustainable health.

  • Smart-home technology demos powered entirely by solar energy.

  • LED light shows and music that turned neighborhoods into live brand experiences.

  • Educational touchpoints explaining government subsidies and financial benefits of going solar.

This was solar made sexy — an immersive experience that turned curiosity into conversion.

 

4. Marketing & Digital Execution

Customer-Facing Campaigns:

  • “Be One of the Cool Kids” Door Hangers: a bold, playful invitation for homeowners to apply to join the sustainable movement.

  • Website Design: a modern, human-centered platform that made solar understandable, with warm photography and simplified user flow.

 

Social Media Storytelling: lifestyle-driven posts mixing sleek home imagery, family moments, and aspirational captions about savings, health, and independence.
